Out for Equity's Parent Network Group 

Come out and meet the Out for Equity staff and LGBT parents and families as we begin to support each other and our students in the St. Paul Public School District. The LGBT Families and Parent Network Group is for LGBT Families and Allies who are parents/guardians of LGBT youth in St. Paul.

Out for Equity Employee Network Group!

Join us for our informal meetings, socialize with fellow LGBT employees or connect with new employees in the Saint Paul Public School district. The LGBT Employee Network group is open to all LGBT and allied employees and strives to create an inclusive and supportive work environment for all SPPS LGBT employees and allies.

• Reducing harassment and violence against lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students, staff, and families.
• Fostering school environments that value diversity.

• Organize GLBT Employee Network to plan, advocate, and socialize.
• Meet with community leaders and foster collaboration.

• Conduct classroom lessons.
• Participate in community speaking engagements.

• Publish regular newsletters.
• Host Out for Equity website.
• Circulate regular email updates.

• Maintain Out for Equity resource manual with suggestions and strategies.
• Catalogue and distribute GLBT-related materials.
• Provide assessment tools.
• Survey schools and gather data about climate.

• Publicize and maintain confidential GLBTQ support groups.
• Reach out to GLBT families.
• Facilitate student-run Gay Straight Alliances.
• Support a recreation center for GLBT youth and their friends.
