Who: GLBTQ youth and their friends, ages 13-20 or grades 8 up

When: Every Friday night September - June (except school holidays), 7pm-11pm

What: "An Evening OUT" every Friday.

All GLBTQ youth and their friends are invited to come and:

•    meet new people
• play ping-pong, foosball, and a variety of other games
• dance/listen to music
• celebrate our differences
• shoot hoops, play dodgeball or volleyball in the gym
• work on crafts in the art room
• watch movies
• drag show or garageband showcase
• and so much more!

Policies

1. No drugs, tobacco, or alcohol

2. No fighting

3. No excessive public displays of affection – Keep it “PG 13”

4. Be respectful of all recreation center property:

• no hanging on basketball rims
• tennis shoes must be worn at all times in the gym
• no sitting or lying on rec center tables
• in general, all art supplies stay in art room

5. Be respectful and courteous to all youth attending the Recreation Center in the interest of safety and confidentiality, and have appreciation for the diversity of the Teen Center

6. Once you leave the Recreation Center for the evening, you are not
allowed to return until the following week unless pre-authorized by supervisors

7. Groups of 3-5 may go to SuperAmerica using a pass and may
only be gone for up to 15 minutes

8. Any newcomer who is 18 years old or older may not attend

9. You must sign in and out every time you attend

10. After 10pm the noise level must be kept to a minimum outside.
